DOGS TO STOP STOP SONNY BILL
Sonny Bill Williams has been subpoenaed to make an appearance at the NSW Supreme court.
Williams recently appeared at London's Heathrow airport apparently on his way to France.
The NRL has supported the Bulldogs' attempt to make sure Williams obides to his contract.
With an injunction that is.
This will prevent him making an appearance at any other team, or training with them.
Any break of this when put in place can result in arrest or seizure of assets.
The Department Of Immigration has also been subpoenaed in order to track down Williams.
The Bulldogs also tried to have Williams' controversial player manager (Khoder Nasser) subpoenaed as well.
Even though Nasser claims he is not representing Williams.
Tell me.
What would make a player defect his team?
Or the NRL???
Money???
That is a big problem.
Union teams in France have more money than NRL teams do.
I bet English league teams would to.
Doesn't loyalty get thrown out the window?
Where is the loyalty?
Is this a problem to?
Surely it can't solely be money or loyalty that is a problem.
Maybe a bit of both.
Does the NRL need to improve to keep players?
If it does, then why do people want to play for it?
Money would help I guess.
