THE ROOSTERS
Kings Cross.
What trouble players get into by going there.
Recently Willy Mason said that any of the Roosters players caught going out to Kings Cross will be dropped.
Look at it these two ways:
Firstly, there are some players who genuinely cause trouble when they go out. And what ever the punishment given normally would fit the crime.
Secondly, there may be players deliberately set up to deliberately get in trouble. Take what happened to West Tigers player Benji Marshall not to long ago as an example.
And going back to Big Willy’s comment, he makes a valid point.
Players have to stay away from trouble somehow.
Don’t players get targeted by the public because of who they are???
Well, what ever the answer, I look at it this way:
I personally have the view that there are different ways to handle this. Players that genuinely cause trouble are treated one way where players who are set up are treated another way.
Players have a life to you know.
